Highlights of the Course
This course is for the pupil who have done the basic level course and are confident about the basics of Chess. Knowing the basics of Chess is the first step completion towards growth in Chess and the journey is a great experience worth remembering for lifetime. The highlights of the course would comprise of developing the students toward reaching an intermediate level in Chess. Some highlights of the course would be exhaustive coverage of the phases of the game with enabling the pupil to understand the correlation of the phases of the game with each other.
Unique Features of the Course
The unique features of this course would be exposure the classical games which are the key to learning at this level. In this phase there would be more emphasis on practical play and exposure to practical tournament conditions and play. In this level, we would be insistent that the pupil develops an ability to introspect the game with the help of the tools that would be provided by the trainers. In this phase the pupil will get to play the International rated players for exposure to international standards.
Course duration and fees
- Duration: 6 months, One class per week, 60-90 minutes per class depending on the uptake of the student.
- Total teaching hours: 25 hours (exclusive of the training videos and training material)
- Assignments: 15 hours of training material
